Okay, so it's one gardenia (for joy) and one blue bird (just because) ... One utterly fictitious blue bird at that.
Done as a card for a coworker.... I like how it turned out, except that scanners eat coloured pencils - as we all know. This is actually a composite of two scans, from two different scanners. Green is a horribly uncompromising colour. Blue? Fine. Throw some shades down and it looks great. Green... It's just a different story. ...it looks better in person, trust me (the lower leaves aren't all fuzzy for one). 5.5x5.5 in. Caran D'ache water-soluble pencils Micron pen ....cardstock?
