"The shark looked at me, its eye uncluttered and thankfully lacking the anthropomorphic ideas and concepts commonly assigned to its kind. I looked back at the shark, thoroughly in awe and wondering if I'd ever grow pupils.
I think we were both ambivalent about the multi-inch sheet of glass between the two of us.
'Unrequited love' was a term I hadn't encountered yet, but I would become deeply familiar with it as the years went on."

No reason for this, except that I wanted to. Just a relatively quick doodley-thing of how my aquarium visits went when I was little. Notice the lack of parents? Yep, I'd wander off on my own and go back to the shark tank. They caught on pretty fast.
Sand tigers are so cute.
